The task
It was decided to build a cable car to the Armenian Genocide Memorial on the site of the building. During the Soviet period, the first two floors were already built for the purpose of operating the cable car. Since the memorial is a symbol of the black page of the history of the Armenian people, and there were also objects of state significance in the territories adjacent to the building, the operation of the structure for preliminary purposes was not considered appropriate. Later, the architect was tasked with completely changing the meaning of the use of the building, making it a multifunctional business center.
The solution
Business center was designed in several styles: classical, Armenian and modern. It is noteworthy that the reconstructed Dvin Hotel was combined with this complex, preserving the details taken from the Armenian style, and a general atmosphere was created.
